So many new social media tools in the field of genealogy...

that you don't know where to start. It is very unlike that one has time enough to participate in all of those. All of these has their pros and coins. Some examples:

1) http://www.genom.com/, seems to be Spanish free service, you may call people in, add pictures, notes, video, documents etc. either with you network, your family tree or your familyline. You may also import Gedcom files. ( I tried, perhaps my gedcom was not backed up...)

2) http://www.familjeband.se/, Swedish competitor

3) http://www.myheritage.com/, from Israel

4) http://www.dis.se/, DISBYT. Little different approach. You may search if you are a member, but only uploading your own data you may also see full records. Good tool for finding somebody whos has studied you family.

5) Facebook - yes- they are also in the business with Family Groups. Then you may share information inside the group.

At least I shall update my blog still ;)

Perhaps they use Twitter also for research...
